Not always. In some cases we may recover values but lose some formula logic or formatting. Recovery is better than a total loss, and you can rebuild formulas once the data is visible again.

Can you recover password-protected sheets?

No. We don’t bypass or crack passwords. If a protected workbook is corrupted, we focus on structural repair, not removing security.

Is this safe for sensitive data?

Files are processed programmatically, not browsed as content. For highly sensitive data, you should weigh the risk of sharing vs. the impact of total data loss.

Do you support .xls or just .xlsx?

We’re optimized for modern .xlsx files, but you can try legacy .xls as well. Results may vary with older formats.
